Day 1Depart USAUSA-LIMA : Depart USA for Lima, Peru. After going through customs and immigration, you will be met and walk with your tour guide to the hotel by Lima airport -Costa del Sol (most flights from USA to Lima arrive late at night) .
Day 2IquitosLIMA-IQUITOS-AMAZON RAINFOREST RIVER CRUISE MV ZAFIRO/Ucayali River : Walk to the domestic side of the airport to check in for your flight to Iquitos. Arrive and transfer to the port to board the beautiful new Amazon river ship "The ZAFIRO"". The MV ZAFIRO size is perfect for navigating the Amazon River, providing a comfortable dining room, bar, reading room, sleeping accommodations, modern navigation technology and standards for cruising and water safety. Upon arrival you will visit the Manatee Center, then continue for an hour to the town of Nauta to board the ship. Lunch and afternoon jungle walk to a Communal reserve to learn about medicinal plants search for insects, tarantulas, frogs and learn basic survival in the forest with an expert naturalists. Return to the Ship. Late afternoon Lecture by the river boat naturalist guides followed by a reception with music on board and delicious dinner. (B,L,D)
Day 3Pacaya Samiria National ReserveAMAZON RAINFOREST RIVER CRUISE Pacaya Samiria National Reserve : 06:00hrs Wake up call
06:30hrs Picnic Breakfast in Pacaya Samiria Natural Reserve. Explore the Yanayacu of Pucate Basin as we look for a nice spot in middle of the reserve to recharge energies with a healthy breakfast. Here some pink dolphins may enrich our panorama, together with blue and yellow macaws, toucans, monkeys such as howler monkeys, monk sakys and more.
11:30hrs Back to the ship and swimming with the pink dolphins. 12:30hrs Lunch on board
16:00hrs Shaman Ceremony in San Regis where we will deepen our beliefs and learn some of the ancient secrets of the rainforest.

09:00hrs Piranha Fishing at San Jose de Zarapanga black water stream named Shiriyacu using the traditional equipment and local techniques.

16:00hrs Visit to Prado Kukama Indian village to learn about our former traditions and traditional medicine, we will see how our Amazonians live and share this morning with them.
17:30hrs Boat excursion to observe the sunset on the Amazon River as we wait to hear the symphony of the wildlife at night. During this excursion we will look for caimans, frogs, tarantulas, snakes and anacondas.

Day 5CuzcoAMAZON RAINFOREST RIVER CRUISE Nauta / Iquitos / Lima Connect to Cuzco : 07:00hr Breakfast on board.
08:30hrs Check-out and bus transfer from Nauta's Town to Iquitos.
10:30hrs Brief city tour around Iquitos to see the famous houses dating from the rubber time era, such as Iron House, Belen Market and more.
11:30hrs Arrive to Iquitos Airport to board your outgoing flight.

Arrive in Lima and connect with your local flight to Cuzco. Arrive and transfer to hotel Sonesta Cuzco, located a few blocks away from the main square. Rest and get used to the high altitude. (B)
Day 6CuzcoCUZCO City tour : In the afternoon enjoy a private half day visit of the magical city of Cuzco as you drive through the main streets with their Inka walls. Visit the Qorikancha (Sun Temple) now referred to as Santo Domingo Church. The curved stonework of the temple is probably unequalled in the world. During the Inca period, the stones were covered with gold. The Cathedral, a real piece of art with hundreds of paintings. Then, visit the archaeological sites that surround Cusco: the Saqsayhuaman Fortress, an amazing site with huge stone constructions. The site has a great cosmic energy - that is why people think it was an astronomic observatory and an Inca oracle. Also visit Q'enqo, a place that was used for worship and ceremonial center and Tambomachay -the Inka Spa. Overnight at hotel Sonesta Cuzco. (B)
Day 7Machu PicchuCUZCO-MACHU PICCHU Full day excursion : Full day excursion to probably one of the most beautiful places on earth "Machu Picchu" the Lost City of the Inkas.
Early morning your tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the train station for your 3 1/2 hour spectacular train ride from Cuzco to Macchu Picchu passing by the sacred valley of the Inkas "Urubamba". Arrive in Aguas Calientes, where you will be taken by bus up to the energetic lost citadel of the Inkas.
Temples, palaces, towers and staircases are built into the side of the mountain. Here your tour guide will take you from site to site explaining the advanced world of the Inkas. Overnight at hotel El Mapi or Casa Andina. Lunch at the Sanctuary Machu Picchu. (B,L,D)
Day 8CuzcoMACHU PICCHU-CUZCO : Day at leisure to explore Machu Picchu on your own. You can go back to the Lost City and visit this magnificent archeological site at your own pace or do some trekking...or stay in Aguas Calientes and visit the local market or the thermal baths.
Afternoon return to Cuzco by train with transfer to your hotel Sonesta Cuzco. (B)
Day 9CuzcoCUZCO : The city of Cuzco is like an open museum, wherever you go you will find ancient Inka streets, palaces, colonial mansions from the Spaniards conquistadores or just take advantage of great bargains such as sweaters, ponchos, alpaca rugs, gold and silver jewelry....plenty of things to do and see....or you can take an optional tour to Pisac, Urubamba, Chinchero or any other site nearby... (B).
Day 10Return USACUZCO-LIMA-USA -Transfer : Transfer to the airport for flight to Lima, where you will be connecting with your international flight . (B)
