Tracey Snipes - CTC President/Owner Travel Escapes Inc.
I'm originally from Bristol, England. My father was transferred to Lockheed and moved to Marietta, Ga. My family and I flew across the big pond often visiting our relatives left behind and this is how the travel bug bit me at an early age!
I decided to pursue my passion for travel and received my degree from Southeastern Travel Academy in Kissimmee, Florida and have not looked back.
I began my career working for a Latin America tour wholesaler, and then worked my way up to manager of a retail travel agency for 20 years.
I became a certified travel counselor and earned several certificates and awards from various suppliers and hoteliers. Have taken many familiarization trips throughout the years inspecting resorts, and experiencing the many wonderful destinations.
I've travelled extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Europe, Central, South and North America. My favorite places are Italy and St. Barthelemy.
In 1995, I came to a crossroad in my life and opened Travel Escapes, Inc.
Travel Escapes has grown over the years in part to our great staff. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for our many repeat clients and referrals throughout the years and appreciate each and everyone one.

Louise Armstrong
I was born in beautiful town of Hermanus, South Africa one of the best whale watching capitals in the world.
After graduating from high school I travelled to France to start my career in yachting and worked aboard some pretty magnificent luxury yachts as a stewardess.
I worked while traveling and travelled while working and thus experienced many different countries and cultures while traveling most of the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Some of my favorite spots are Sardinia, Tuscany and the Exumas.
After some time in yachting I decided to get my certification as a chef not particularly to work as a chef on yachts but because I enjoy cooking….. and well of course I love indulging in it too.
In 2008 I moved to the US and lived in the picturesque North Georgia Mountain while still freelancing as a stewardess. Tracey had asked many times about working for her but logistically at the time it just didn't make sense.
In 2014 I exchanged my stewardess duties for diaper diaper duties and it wasn't till we moved to South Atlanta that I was able to take Tracey up on her offer and work for Travel Escapes.
Being a travel consultant was kind of a "no-brainer" especially given my back round as I always loved booking travel for friends so naturally it was a perfect fit for me and I absolutely love it !
Finally after all these years I decided to take the plunge…..my only regret was "why didn't I do it sooner!"
